I have been meaning to have the boys get their pictures taken at 6 months old but we just kept getting busy and pushing it off. So here we are at 8 months. I think they turned out so cute and I can't wait to get some more taken as they get older. We also got some family ones done. Besides the fact that this momma still needs to lose weight, I thought they turned out cute It was a really windy day and I couldn't believe it! It is never windy and the one day we get pictures done it was windy. Thank you Amanda Glenn for the pictures!

California trip, boys are 7 months old
We decided we needed a break from the heat and headed over to California in May for my cousin, Chelsea's wedding. We love the Browns and it is always such a party when we go. A party it was! The wedding was gorgeous and the reception was incredible! It made me want to redo my wedding and do everything that she did! The weather was so nice and we were able to take the boys to the ocean for the first time. It was a little cold that day so we didn't get the beach feel we wanted but it was still so fun to have the boys in the sand and dip our feet in the water. The boys didn't know what to think! They were trying to figure out the sand when all of a sudden water would sneak up on them. So much to take in! We can't wait to take them again when they will really play in the sand.
We LOVED being with family and catching up with those we don't always get to see. Such a blast! We were very lucky to have my sister Jill be with us for a bit. She came out to Arizona for a few days and then the five of us drove out to California. The boys loved having someone to look at and play with. They really did so great on the drive and fussed only when they were hungry. I love my boys, they are so good for me! We arrived in San Clamente, CA and got to see my brother Rich, Julie, Isabella, and Anderson. They drove down from Sacramento and we all stayed at the same hotel. We miss not having them in Arizona so it was fun to be with them again. The wedding festivities began the next day or so and then we headed back to the hot desert a few days later. It was so nice to relax and enjoy some family time. Jill flew back east from there, so the boys were very disappointed to not have their Aunt Jill next to them. They sure do love her!
Well, the boys are 8 months now but the following pictures of them are at 7 months. They are getting so big and it is really making me quite sad. I guess I just have mixed feelings about it all. I do LOVE this age and their cute blabbering, and giggles but I am so nervous for when they start crawling. Yikes! I'm not quite sure how I will keep up but we sure do love them and everyday I feel so lucky to take care of them. I still think to myself "these are MY babies"! I love it and I especially love seeing Aaron play with them. He is so good with them and they light up as soon as they see him home from work. I'm chop suey after that, ;)
They are accomplishing a lot these days but I won't write the lists as I have just finished doing that in their baby books and I don't want to write it all out again. I must say I am pretty proud of myself as I am all caught up on their baby books! It takes a lot of time for me. I do keep a little notebook around the house so that if something happens I write it down. Brilliant idea, thanks to my friend from church.
Going to town on blueberries!
Jonah
Luke
Luke all finished, I am pretty sure a little tantrum was thrown after this picture because there was no more to eat!
Jonah, he too threw a little tantrum. Lucky me ;)
So tired!
Jonah practicing on sitting up
Tummy time! Jonah is very good and rolling over to his back and from his back to his belly. He is my roller, but Luke still has some work to do!
My nephew, George Jack was born in May and boy is he cute!! I can't believe the boys were his size, in fact they were smaller. It is so weird holding such a small baby, I am now used to 20+ lbs
Luke is practicing his sitting
It doesn't look like it in this picture but they do love the green veggies. Lets hope it continues. ;)
Who doesn't love a baby in a diaper?! I sure do.
Cousin Sam with the boys. What a pro!
Aaron with Luke..I think ;)
Jill with Jonah
My sweet Aunt Dixie got to see the babies. She is one of the most wonderful women I know! That beautiful necklace of hers got pulled apart just after this shot. My son got to it. ;( I felt horrible! Sorry Aunt Dixie.
The happy couple. Isn't she just stunning!
Family photo at the Newport Beach temple. Wow, is it gorgeous!
Relaxing at the reception
The first time the boys swam in a pool. They loved it!

Luke the duke!
Jill caught the bouquet, woohoo!
The very last night in CA we stayed at my cousin's house and I was packing up. I left the room for a minute and came back to this. Haha, the fastest they have ever fallen asleep. Isn't that headboard awesome? I want it!
hugs and spit up
The boys finally got their act together ;)
Yay for the beach!
Luke happy as can be

After a long night of partying, Luke took good care of Jill's bouquet
