Photo shoot---Thank you Julie!!

So my sister-in-law Julie is a pretty amazing woman. She can do hair (styling, cutting, and coloring like no other person I know), make-up to make you feel like the most beautiful person in a room, nails (which actually look like you paid for a pedicure), and now photography! This list can go on and on.
We had talked about her doing some pregnancy pictures for me but this was above and beyond what I expected. She got me all dolled up and I felt so good about myself!
As most of you know I am not the most petite person (quite the understatement) and pregnancy hasn't helped in that area. Sure I love seeing my belly grow (for once in my life) but the ever growing large hips( as if I didn't have them already..thanks Toomer ancestors) and the large swollen feet just don't seem to cut it when trying to feel good about yourself. Although I guess I should be grateful for those large hips as they will come in very handy in about 2 1/2 months ;)

After Julie took the pictures I was shocked at how much I loved them! Not because of her photography skills but because I actually LOVED them of me..and the babies of course. For once I LOVED those large hips, large belly, and swollen feet. I felt like they captured the beauty of pregnancy.

I am not quite sure how I can thank her enough! I am still searching my talents to see what I can do for her. Perhaps I can give her my next child, since we can see that I am very fertile and my body likes to pop them out two at a time ;)
Julie-If you are reading this THANK YOU for being so amazing, willing and giving! You made me so happy and the pictures are perfect! I LOVE YOU!

Here is a link that Julie posted the pictures with music but I also posted my own pictures since I want them to show in the book. Warning: The video is 6 min long!

On a side note: How come nobody, I mean NOBODY ever told me that your feet grow when you are pregnant. I went shopping for sandals to wear at my sister's wedding and I have to buy a size 12!!! That is right people, I said a size 12!!! Just so you know, they only make ugly shoes for that size..even Nordstrom Rack!! I might as well just start wearing men shoes!

Week 25 baby pictures and an update

I can't believe it has been a whole month since I last blogged. I am 25 weeks along now (I look like what I would be at 40 weeks with just one baby)and that means I have 11-13 more weeks to go! My doctor says the goal is to make it to 36 weeks but no more than 38 weeks. That puts these babies coming between the first and third week of November (hopefully)! Aaron wants me to aim for having them on 11-11-11 :) I told him I would do my best but if they come sooner they are coming out!

I feel like this pregnancy has gone by so fast. Maybe I should be happy about that but so far I am a little sad. I know that as I get closer I will be ready but right now, I am not. I still can't believe that there are two babies inside of me, it is a little weird. :) There is still so much to be done before they come.
When I went to my appointment this past week the ultrasound tech said that they are both head down and baby B was really active. Baby A has his hand right next to his brother's leg as if he is trying to feel him. I guess I never really thought about it before but the tech was telling us that even through the separate sac they can feel each other. I love that. :) I get to have my 3-D ultrasound in 2 weeks and I am really excited about that. The doctor said everything looks really good with me and the babies. I hope that it stays that way, I am truly blessed.

Lately I have been craving sweets which is bad because all I can think about when I eat is how hard my workouts will be after I have these boys. Haha oh well, I just try to take each day at a time and try to be a bit better. My feet are definitely swelling more. I tried to explain to my sister Jill what they look like, all I could think of was they look like dad's feet. :) Big, wide, and puffy....(sorry dad) haha. I swear one of them is on my bladder because I have to go SO MUCH! It gets really irritating especially because it makes me so tired in the morning. I like to think of it as our body is just preparing me for the sleepless nights I will get when these babies come. :)
I really can't complain about anything though, it has been pretty smooth so far. I just love feeling them move around more and more!

I plan on posting more this week when Julie finishes with the pictures. They look so good! I can't wait for you guys to see them!

A sneak peak at my pregnancy pictures! Julie did an awesome job and I can't thank her enough!! She is talented on so many levels it is sickening. :)
The top profile picture has the membrane in the way of the nose but you still get the idea of what he looks like. They are moving like crazy!
A shot confirming that they are still boys!
A really cool picture of the head. I think of how tiny a newborn nose is and how small this nose must be right now! It is pretty amazing.
